Case registered after Quaid’s statue in Gwadar blown up

A case has been registered after a statue of the founding father of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was blown up in Gwadar, Balochistan.

Officers of the Counter-Terrorism Division (CTD) stated {that a} case of destroying the Quaid’s statue with the assistance of explosives has been registered on the CTD Gwadar police station.

In an identical incident in August, a video of a person destroying the statue of 18th-century Sikh ruler Ranjit Singh along with his naked palms on the Lahore Fort went viral.

The suspect was later taken into custody by the Lahore police.
