ISLAMABAD: Tabish Gauhar on Tuesday formally resigned as Particular Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Energy and Petroleum.

His resignation has been accepted by the premier, confirmed a notification issued by the Cupboard Secretariat.

In keeping with the assertion: “The Prime Minister has been happy to just accept the resignation tendered by Tabish Gauhar, from the submit of Particular Assistant to the Prime Minister on Energy and Petroleum, with impact from September 20, 2021.”

The event comes after Gauhar and Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi developed rifts on the controversy sparked over the Engro LNG terminal’s dry-docking, NEWSONHY Information reported.
