KARACHI: Senior journalist Waris Raza returned to his house in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal space after he was taken into custody from his residence on Tuesday evening.
“I’ve returned safely to my home,” the senior journalist mentioned, whose temporary detention had invited criticism from media our bodies, together with the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) and Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ).
The journalist, chatting with an workplace holder of the KUJ, mentioned the boys who had taken him into custody had blindfolded him and stored asking him questions on his journalistic duties and his columns.
“The boys who took me blindfolded me […] they left me on the Mobina City Police Station some time in the past,” the journalist mentioned.
