PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif’s spokesperson Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan on Sunday mentioned that Minister for Science and Expertise Shibli Faraz’s feedback relating to Shahbaz’s costly watch are “ridiculous.”
A day in the past, Shibli had hit out at Shahbaz and mentioned that whereas the Opposition chief all the time laments about inflation within the nation, he himself wears a wristwatch price Rs10.5 million.
Responding to Faraz’s feedback, the spokesperson mentioned that the watch that Shahbaz Sharif wears was gifted to him by his late father, Mian Muhammad Sharif.
“The wristwatch was purchased by late Mian Muhammad Sharif within the Seventies throughout a visit to Germany,” the spokesperson mentioned, including that on the time, the value of the watch was simply Rs2,000.
“There’s a restrict to telling lies,” mentioned the spokesperson. “Shahbaz Sharif has been sporting the wristwatch for the final 50 years out of respect and attachment for his late father”.
